NEURO SURGERY
OPD

  • Stared in 1956 with 10 beds.
  • At present there are two units with 140 beds and 18 ICU beds.
  • Performs all types of neuro surgery done in the world.
  • This department provides the only epilepsy surgery and Parkinson disease surgery and the only neuro interventional service in the country.
  • The two units together have around 14000 admissions annually while the accident service admit 10000 head injuries annually.
